Questions we get asked
How much class time does this take?
About 60 minutes per activity, ten times across the year. Most schools run it in homeroom, advisory or tutor time, so no subject loses teaching hours.
Do we have to follow the monthly schedule?
No. The timeline is a suggestion. Schools run it fortnightly, weekly, or as an intensive block across a few days. The order of activities is what matters, not the spacing.
Is it suitable for younger students?
Yes. Every activity is written to be adapted to the developmental stage of the class, from the youngest students to the highest grades. Teachers pitch it for their own room.
What if a session brings something difficult to the surface?
The guidance notes cover this directly, including how to de-escalate through sincerity and accountability. Anything serious should go through your school's existing safeguarding procedures.
Do we need special materials or training?
Ordinary classroom supplies only. A short staff briefing is recommended, but the lesson plans are written to be picked up and run.
How do we show it worked?
Through the included surveys, reflective journals and activity rubrics, alongside your own records of behaviour incidents before and after.
